Presentation
Cream containing nystatin, chlorhexidine acetate and hydrocortisone.

Therapeutic Indications
Uses
Infected dermatoses responsive to topical corticosteroids
Dosage
Adults
1 application to infected area one to three times daily.
Maximum treatment duration should be 7 days.
Children
1 application to infected area one to three times daily.
Maximum treatment duration should be 5 to 7 days.
Contraindications
Acne vulgaris
Rosacea
Skin manifestation of tuberculosis
Widespread plaque psoriasis
Precautions and Warnings
Occlusive dressings
Breastfeeding
Pregnancy
Contains benzyl alcohol
Contains polysorbate
Some formulations contain cetostearyl alcohol
Avoid contact with eyes
Avoid contact with mucous membranes
Avoid prolonged application to the face
Prolonged/excessive use may lead to adrenal suppression
Discontinue if sensitisation occurs
Discontinue if superinfection occurs
Avoid long-term use particularly in infants and children
Treatment should be for a maximum period of 7 days
Nappy may act as an occlusive dressing
Pregnancy and Lactation
Pregnancy
Use nystatin, chlorhexidine and hydrocortisone with caution during pregnancy.
The manufacturer advises that the benefit of treatment must outweigh potential risks to the infant.
Lactation
Use nystatin, chlorhexidine and hydrocortisone with caution during breastfeeding.
