Sodium fluoride dental suspension sugar-free.

Therapeutic Indications
Uses
Pain relief of sensitive teeth
Prophylaxis of dental caries
Dosage
Before use, remove excess plaque and dry the teeth.
Apply a thin layer to the most susceptible areas of dentition using a brush, probe or swab.
Adults
Apply up to 0.75ml (16.75mg)
Caries prophylaxis
Repeat application every 6 months. More frequent applications may be made every 3 months.
Hypersensitivity
2 or 3 applications within a few days.
Children
Milk teeth
Apply up to 0.25ml (5.65mg).
Mixed dentition
Apply up to 0.40ml (9.04mg).
Permanent dentition
Apply up to 0.75ml (16.75mg)
Caries prophylaxis
Repeat application every 6 months. More frequent applications may be made every 3 months.
Hypersensitivity
2 or 3 applications within a few days.

Pregnancy
Use sodium fluoride dental suspension with caution in pregnancy.
The manufacturer notes that this medication contains 33.8% of ethanol (each dose contains up to 0.2g of alcohol) and recommends that it should be avoided in pregnancy.
Lactation
Use sodium fluoride dental suspension with caution in breastfeeding.
The manufacturer notes that this medication contains 33.8% of ethanol (each dose contains up to 0.2g of alcohol) and recommends that it should be avoided in breastfeeding.
Counselling
Advise patient not to brush teeth or chew food for four hours after treatment
Advise patient that after this treatment has been applied, no high dose fluoride preparations (e.g. gels) should be used
